Sheep porn?

So Mojo is happy now, I think... He was turned in Friday evening with the 6 ewes.  He ran in like he was Mr. Wonderful.  You know, the guy in the bar that's in the silk shirt unbuttoned down to his navel, who thinks the women are all gonna fall all over him?  Well, that isn't want happened.  As a matter of fact he got knocked for a loop.  They were head-butting him all over the place, a few times knocking him sideways when he wasn't looking.  By the next morning though, things had changed a bit.  A couple of the girls were wearing marks but I really couldn't tell if it was from an actual breeding or him just managing to jump on the right spot.  I am hoping he is getting the job done successfully, as we have four other ewes from a different county coming into meet him in a couple of weeks.

He posed for a picture that was on facebook and is gonna get lucky and help pay for his new fencing at the same time.

I was worried that he would be doing the deed in the middle of the day when my sisters' boys would be exposed.  Luckily it's been warm, so all that's been happening is a bunch of sheep laying in the shade.  No sheep porn at my house! At least not viewable.

On a side note, the house is a little crazy.  We currently have 5 dogs here.  Lyndsey's puppy Mason now weighs 60 lbs, Kaitlyn brought her purebred Mastiff puppy home. His name is Bentley and he weighs 23 lbs at 8 weeks old.  He is adorable and Mason and Bo and Bella are tolerating him really good.

Mason on the left, Bentley on the right.

Kaitlyn and her husband are trying to work on their marriage, so he came down last week and then again this week. It's okay having him here, and guess what, he brought Rocky, his dog.  Rocky's been here before and loves it, and we love him.  He fits in well and gets along with everyone else.

However, 5 dogs and essentially 5 adults makes it a little hectic here.  Oh well.  4-H camp is this weekend and I am going up to help out and will spend a night or two.  I grew up going to the same camp and I love it.  It brings back good memories being there.

Wishing you all lots of hope, joy and faith!

  1. I think getting exposed to sex on the farm is the best and most natural way to teach kids about the birds and the bees, so take advantage of the opportunity! And that IS a lot of dogs.... :-)

  2. Five dogs "ain't nuth'n".....unless they are all in the house!

As for the sheep porn, I have to agree with Michelle. But again, if they're boys, there'd probably just be a bunch of snickering and laughing I suppose :)

  4. FIVE dogs?? Sure is a good thing you are animal people. Must be kinda hard to walk through the house because of all the dog bodies!
